Preservation Day at the Capitol
Event Sponsors: MIssouri Preservation and the Alliance for Investment, Jobs and Preservation in Missouri
Join AIJP and Missouri Preservation for Preservation Day at the State Capitol. We Need Your Participation!
Wednesday, April 25, 2012, Missouri State Capitol, 3rd Floor of the Rotunda, Meet in the Senate Alcove
Preservation Day offers us all a chance for personal interaction with our elected officials. Coming to the Capitol as a group allows us to thank our legislative supporters in person, and educate those who may not be familiar with the program. It is also a great opportunity to show all members of the legislature how many people value this important program!
This event is open to all supporters of the Missouri Historic Tax Credit; join us, and bring a friend. We will take care of logistics; all you have to do is give us a day of your time. We will even buy you lunch. We’ve scheduled several 15-minute blocks with key legislators for the morning and afternoon group sessions, followed by time for individual visits to allow participants to meet with their own legislators.
9:30-10:00 Registration (with coffee)
10:00-10:15 Legislative Update from Jim Farrell, AIJP
10:15-11:15 Group Legislator Visits
11:15-12:15 Box Lunch with Lt. Governor Peter Kinder
