For one night only, it’s time to relive the Roaring 20s in Kansas City at Club 1228! So let’s get dolled up and hit the juice joint where the music will be hot, the booze will be flowing and gambling is likely to occur!
On Friday, November 11, 2016 Historic Kansas City will host a party at The Brass on Baltimore to commemorate Kansas City’s prohibition history and announce the new “I’m A Preservationist” awards. On stage will be musical performances featuring Molly Hammer Trio and Victor & Penny and their Loose Change Orchestra. Enjoy an open bar all evening, light snacks and gambling. 1920’s attire is encouraged and for ideas, please check out the 1920’s Fashion Pinterest page.
