Annual Meeting – From Gully Town to a City Beautiful

Join Historic Kansas City and the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial for a celebration of the history, impact and ongoing preservation efforts of one of the city’s greatest sources of pride: the parks and boulevards system. The event features a cash bar reception followed by a presentation and panel discussion in J.C. Nichols Auditorium with Dona Boley, co-author of the book Kansas City’s Parks and Boulevards, and Susan Richards Johnson, a preservation architect involved in numerous monument restorations, including the recent three-year restoration of the Liberty Memorial.
